Reflexology Lymph Drainage

Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) is an evidence based, globally recognized treatment developed by Sally Kay.
In her initial research, Sally conducted six treatments on clients with lymphoedema following cancer, and all participants experienced fluid reduction with the RLD technique.
RLD is a reflexology approach that interacts specifically with the lymphatic system, which becomes dysfunctional for various reasons, with breast cancer being a primary example.
The lymphatic system serves as a drainage system that operates alongside arteries and veins, relying on movement for its function. Interruptions in flow due to surgery, injury or disabilities can lead to fluid retention in limbs, particularly noticeable in individuals post breast cancer surgery or people who have difficulties with mobility and consequently, lymph fluid circulation.
The lymphatic system is vital as it forms part of the immune system, clearing proteins, cellular debris, pathogens, and waste from tissues—essentially acting as the body's waste disposal system.

Sally's work has positively impacted many lives, and I have witnessed significant improvements in clients with MS in my own practice.
As with any treatment, there are considerations to keep in mind; not all therapies are suitable for everyone, but if you're curious, I encourage you to give it a try and see if it benefits you.
RLD is provided with the same comfort and professionalism as all my treatments. Click the button to go back to the main reflexology page.
